I had the privilege of traveling to Seattle, Washington for this incredible family session at Rattlesnake Lake! While my passion and love for wedding photography is well known, some may not know that I shoot family sessions as well! This family was an absolute dream for any family photographer. Isabella is the most happy and joyful girl I have ever met, and it was a joy getting to watch their family come together and laugh for some new professional family pictures. As many families - it's been quite some time since they had their own professional pictures done!
Rattlesnake Lake is one my all time favorite locations for any photoshoot in the Seattle, WA area. There are two main areas you can shoot here. First, on the beach! This is where we did their entire family session and we finished just in time before we got down poured on! The second area requires you to take a short hike up the mountain side and you are brought to a rock ledge cliffside overlooking the lake. It's truly incredible and I highly recommend either of these spots for your family, wedding, or couple photoshoot location needs!
I loved getting to change the scenery from Utah, and travel to Seattle. Being a Utah Family Photographer, I am constantly traveling all over the state to find new incredible spots. What you don't often find in Utah is the darker toned lake overlooks like Rattlesnake Lake offers. I loved being back in Seattle and getting to capture the real mood that Seattle has to offer.
I've known Isabella, the daughter in the family, for some time as we grew up going to the same church the majority of our lives! It has been so fun getting to watch her grow into a beautiful young women. She recently graduated high school and got her drivers license! She is one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. She even saved up to travel to Utah for my own personal wedding to share in the special day.
